One to Grow On

I got one pod. That’s it. But I guess that’s still good since I really didn’t start them when I should have. I never even saw the bloom either. It seems like the pod just appeared out of nowhere…so we’ll try again another year just for the hell of it.

Experiments
I’m starting a late summer and fall garden. It’s kind of late to be putting these out but I decided to go for it anyway since I don’t think we are going to get any cool weather any time soon. I love the flowers on these plants, so if I only get to enjoy the blooms then it will be enough for me this year. I’m not a huge okra fan but it would be nice to fry some up or use in a soup.
