I bought two of the tall varieties of this plant today. Trying to decide where to put them…it says they can get invasive. Hmmm?

This plant has been slow to adapt to the garden. The bed it is in gets overrun with weeds easily since there are not a lot of other flowers in this flower bed or near this plant. I wanted it to spread and take up most of the space so that the weeds couldn’t grow, but it hasn’t spread at all since it was planted. It returned the second year after I planted it but I am waiting to see if it comes back this year. It looks like are some small leaves just starting that might be the sprouts of this plant, but it isn’t large enough to tell yet.
