Paper Petals of Pink

garden_rosesharon_07blooms_small
There are two of these bushes planted next to each other along the back yard fence facing the vegetable garden. the flowers on one are more of a lavender pink and the other, smaller one,  a warmer apricot-pink. These bushes were covered in a thick mass of grapevines and smilac when I first moved into the house. I almost cut them down but by chance I noticed a single bloom trying to creep into the sun and realized it was a keeper.  Now that the strangle hold of vines have been removed, and it’s been pruned and trimmed, it has put out a ton of flowers each spring through summer.
