Delicate “Weeds”

garden_clover

garden_clover3 There are a lot of clover clumps in the front yard. It is growing in large round clumps scattered over the grass next to the flower beds. I like the clover even though some people think of it as a lawn weed.

The little pink flowers bloom through all of the spring and most of the summer if you don’t mow them down. It would be nice to transplant them into one space. I’m just not sure where that “space” would be right now or how to move them, so I guess they will stay in the lawn for a while longer.

hi, i have been searching for this kind of clover all over the internet and was so glad to see your pictures of it. i live in mid south carolina and this clover grows on its own in many parts of my lawn. i would like to overseed my entire lawn with it as i love it and it is very hardy. could you please tell me the exact name of it so that i can try to find seeds for overseeding. thank you so much
