12.15.06 ::My mom bought a big box of Tulip bulbs. I will set them out in February after they have chilled in the fridge for a month or two. Check back in March to see how they do.

Well
I did get a few tulips last year, and they were pretty for a couple of
days. Most of them got droopy and fell over as if the stem could not
support the flower. I didn't dig up the bulbs and they didn't come back
this year; but I didn't
really expect them to return. I probably won't buy these again, tulips
just
aren't good in this area, the summers are too hot and winters too mild.
I would rather spend money on
perrenials that come back each year.
