YEP!

I have yellow crookneck squash. I planted these off by themselves near the trellis thinking they were cucumbers. At one point I even thought they had died and had written them off as a loss...but I spotted something yellow from the window a couple of weeks ago and when I went out to see what it was I discovered tiny little yellow blooms on the vine. Now I officially have squash for the first time! They are still a litlte small and it looks like the vine is trying to grow more blooms. I may decide to pick this one soon even though it is only about four inches long...it looks yummy!

Mystery Veggies

I think I accidentally grabbed some kind of squash or zuchinni plant when I meant to get cucumbers...they weren't labeled very good and people had shuffled them around at the store. At any rate I plopped them in the ground today....we'll see what happens.
