![]() The Jalapeños are
going crazy this year. They made the banana peppers taste
HOT even though
they were planted apart across the garden. Oh well.
Also I noticed today that a couple of the peppers have a strange discoloration. They have very light spots that look like cloudy "bursts". I saw some sheild bugs aka "stink bugs" on the plants so I am wondering if this is an insect problem or if maybe the spots are caused by watering issues or maybe sun? Not sure but I will have to do some research. .

06.03.05 ::![]() The peppers seem to be doing pretty good overall. I already have one almost full size Señorita pepper, it came from the bloom pictured below. I will probably pick it soon so that the vine will get larger, it seems to be smaller than all the others that are just now putting out blooms. The Peruvian Purples are growing at
a snails pace! I hope they are ok...They still look like
seedlings.
Here is an photo...
you can see how small they are (bottom
left) compared
to the Ancho Pablano
pepper plants at the top.
They were planted
at the same time.
Here is a close up of
the beautiful
leaves of the Peruvian
plant...they start out bright green with purp[le veins and slowly the
edge turns purple
until the leaves are completely
purple with green veins...very pretty...I want
them to GROW!
