  What's In A Name?

It might be "Mexican", but it's not a mint and it's not a marigold either. So that name is whack. More people would probably use this plant if the name wasn't so misleading or confusing.

Mysteriously this plant was already blooming in April when I purchased it from the nursery despite reports that it should not be blooming until later in the summer. I am curious to see if it will continue to bloom until fall. I am on the edge of it's hardiness zone, so I hope it survives and establishes itself as a perrenial in my garden. Since I planted it we have had non stop rain. Being a drought tolerant plant, I doubt it is happy with this downpour we have had.

Pictures coming soon!
