Bright Lights
New season, new chard. I put out seedlings today of both the red chard like I planted last year (seen in background of photo) and this new bright light yellow. They really add color to the garden. I hope they get bigger than last years' plants which didn't get planted early enough and never really got big...although they looked pretty for a long time.

Something New!


I saw this pretty red chard and couldn't resist. I haven't grown chard before and I don't know what I am going to do with it when it gets bigger, but it's now in the garden nestled among the straw wioth the other vegetables. More updates as it gets bigger.
